The Fires Changed Everything is a day exploring the issues nature faces on the South Coast, particularly after the bushfires.
About this event
The Fires Changed Everything is this years regional conference co-hosted by Nature Conservation Council NSW (NCC) and member groups Coastwatchers, South East Region Conservation Alliance (SERCA) and South Coast Health and Sustainability Alliance (SHASA) in Bateman's Bay.
The program is available here.
NCC is the peak body for environment groups in NSW. We bring together grassroots environment groups across the state.
The aims of the conference are to:
Discuss a range of environmental issues faced by the South Coast;
Provide an opportunity for networking between NCC members, executive, staff, representatives and local conservationists;
Provide an opportunity for information sharing, skills development and collaborative planning on key policy and campaign issues; and
Strengthen working relationships between existing NCC members and to provide an opportunity for potential members to learn more about our work.
We will have a day of workshops and panel discussions, followed by a conference dinner in the evening and a field trip somewhere nearby on Sunday morning.
If you wish to attend the conference via Zoom, we will live stream the main sessions. You can choose this ticket type and we will send you the program and a zoom link before the day.
