NCMG are planning to advise Transport NSW, DPI & and the BMPA to ensure that the unique biodiversity is preserved as best as possible during the development / replacement of the old wharf… we hope to mitigate risks and disturbance.

Urchin Barrens on the NSW Coast

Large areas of once healthy reef ecosystems, home to many iconic fish and weed species, are being decimated due overgrazing by the Long Spined Purple Sea Urchin Centrostephanus rogersii.

We help people to learn about the marine environment by organising marine-focussed movie nights, events, educative outings, rock shelf and rocky reef rambles, kayak trips, snorkelling, diving and whale watching.
